For optimum quality control of crimp and compression connections, the use of a micrograph laboratory is one of the most important tools in cable assembly today. The creation of micrographs provides all the important information about the degree of crimping, the curling of the crimp flanks and damage (especially cracks) in the wire crimp area.
At Schneider Kabelsatzbau we produce the micrographs ourselves and can therefore guarantee consistently high production quality. The quality of tools and wear parts is transparently documented through regular maintenance and service checks using micrograph analysis.
With a stock of over 500 tools, this method is extremely useful in ensuring that all our tools function optimally and meet the highest quality standards.
